Ron Mottram
Does anyone remember Drake Boy Ron Mottram? He was either a fourth or fifth former in 1959 and I believe, left PRS that same summer. He taught me three guitar chords which are probably the same ones taught to Status Quo but they made the big time! You may remember the land outside Drake Boys where this shot was taken.

Must have been just before my time Norm, but Val definitely remembers him and has indeed sent a photo of him posing with a very sharp instrument, but we can't publish until she's okayed it. Let's be having your memories of Billy, Val, assuming they are printable!
Have just noticed that Val calls him Billy and Norm has him down as Ron, but from the photos it's definitely the same person.
You are right Norm. My mistake. Billy was Ron's younger brother according to Val.
