With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week.
Larry LaPrise, the man that wrote "The Hokey Cokey" died peacefully at the age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.
On the subject of Karaoke, I had my first try at it yesterday when a professional entertainer noticed me singing along to his 'oldies' songs at an open-air gig. Quick as a flash he was down among the audience and held the mic in front of me. Eat your heart out Tony Christie I thought. Then, to my great embarassment, everyone burst out laughing, including my better half. I couldn't believe the horrible croaking sound that came out. After singing along for half an hour, I was hoarse but hadn't realised it!

Nice one Bob! :)
Brilliant Bob, I will use that one at work if you don't mind. Very funny.
