That is a brilliant photo and one of my favourites. Evvar and Peps upstairs in the Gods at Birmingham. I did enjoy that venue. Remember you took Evvar down the canal and bought her an icecream!
I agree with you Stormie....Birmingham worked so well. The Bar was right at the front of the Hotel which meant you could immediately see who was there and join in.....the Ballroom was a little small but us up in the Gods had a lovely time and didn't feel in the least cut off.......and surprisingly so much to see in and around the town. Dave Clark, Peter Hirst, Meg Perry, Peps and I traipsed round for ages on the Saturday hoping to partake of a genuine Balti but the only ones we found were closed! In Birmingham for crying out loud!

I think Birmingham was one of my favourite venues, Wilhelmshaven excepted of course
Surely you haven't forgotten Newbury Norm. That is one event that will remain in my mind for ever.Could have lived off it for months afterwards.Eileen
