Posbrook 2

One lovely weekendtowards the end of my time in my rural retreat, Cas and Mac came to visit. While Mac and I were chatting about old times spent in the sand pit in Fallingbostel, Cas took off with my camera to record the views in and around my home of 28 years, so that I wouldn'y ever forget what I was leaving behind! Some of the photos are typical Cas as you will see, while others show the beauty of and solitude of Posbrook, from which I eventually escaped to my new home of Ozbrook.

Beautiful old trees Babs! Was your dog named after the island or the district where most of the islanders resettled in Oz? Haven't been to the island have you? The loneliest spot in the world

Kilda was named after St Kilda a district in Melbourne Bayside where my sons used to live when they first when to Australia. St Kilda is funky, groovy, alternative (whatever that means) and bustling with life. Sadly Kilda ate too many stones which clogged up and she died! Ah!
