In this photo you can see the spare wheel storage and the lack of boot lid. I am told that the sliding window model is very hard to find nowadays. Hope this brings back a few memories Helga.

My car looked rather better than this Scrapyard model/ I paid £60 for mine in 1964.

Drake's Finest

Now here' a fine body of young men. Second from the left at the back is Trefor Williams (yes, the spelling is correct). I am not sure if third from the right, at the back is Tony Pugh. Although I recognise the face, I just cannot remember second from left on the front row.

Ron Mottram

Does anyone remember Drake Boy Ron Mottram? He was either a fourth or fifth former in 1959 and I believe, left PRS that same summer. He taught me three guitar chords which are probably the same ones taught to Status Quo but they made the big time! You may remember the land outside Drake Boys where this shot was taken.
