And again

Mac and Ben

Johnny Mackey (Rodney) with one of my Grandees, Ben on a visit to Posbrook. Ben would not sleep and so Mac took charge and went 'walk about' in the dark..... Here we have Ben eating an apple straight from the lawn and we all need a peck of dirt. Parents went off to Spain so Grandma got away with all sorts of things! Ben had his fifth birthday party on 23rd September and Mac and I are still friends. Babs.

Window shot

We recreated this shot in 1997 thirtyseven years after the original. The same people in the same position. Interestingly Roger! I have never seen the original.

A moment in time when I was able to recapture and relive my time in Drake. My final 'resting place' was the room immediately left of the entrance.

Posbrook 9

Through the honeysuckle arch, down Liam's walkway. This photo is taken, looking up the lavendaer walk, sadly just before it burst into flower. The cranesbill and the foxgloves are in bloom though.

Liam's Pond. Don't know where the name came from Babs, but what a beautiful photgraph. This certainly could have been in a Chelsea exhibition garden.

Posbrook 2

One lovely weekendtowards the end of my time in my rural retreat, Cas and Mac came to visit. While Mac and I were chatting about old times spent in the sand pit in Fallingbostel, Cas took off with my camera to record the views in and around my home of 28 years, so that I wouldn'y ever forget what I was leaving behind! Some of the photos are typical Cas as you will see, while others show the beauty of and solitude of Posbrook, from which I eventually escaped to my new home of Ozbrook.

Bab's Gaff

Welcome to Posbrook, home to the Green Woodpecker and friends.
Yes, this could easily be Chelsea 21 but no, I am giving it a rest in order to treat you to photos that Babs has kindly sent me.
